Tips for keeping your black denim look new: -Wash in COLD water. -Turn jeans inside out to avoid surface abrasion in the washer. -Use the gentle cycle on the washer. -Use a cool cycle on the dryer, or let them drip dry. -Use a cup of white vinegar in the rinse water to set the dye in a new pair of jeans, or to brighten an older pair. -Use a “color guard” detergent, such as -Procter & Gamble’s “Cheer”. -Wash dark and light clothes separately. -Don’t overuse detergent or it may build up a visible residue.
